As of 2022, foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows contribution to the total GDP in Saudi Arabia stood at 0.7 percent. This was a 3.1 percent drop from its original base of 3.8 percent. As part of its Vision 2030 goal, the country aims to increase FDI inflows contribution to 5.7 percent of the total GDP by the end of the decade.
